In 1935, veterans who were among those driven out of DC by the #2 scumbag Herbert Hoover were encamped in the Florida Keys on a bullshit make-work scheme under insufficient conditions when the most powerful hurricane to yet strike the US ravaged their makeshift housing, killing over 250 heroes of the War to End All Wars who were not allowed to evacuate until tragically too late.

Hoover was as guilty as the Labor Day Hurricane and the criminally inept managers of the project.

FDR was President, one of the BEST in US history; there is a plaque and memorial area on the Key where they died. It came as a surprise, and no one was prevented from evacuation, the adequate road to evacuate was being built by the Vets, not "make work". Look up the 1928 Okeechobee hurricane, we will never know how many first nations Americans died in the 'Glades.

fdr was the worst scumbag ever to soil the office of President of the United States, by far. As for the rest, here is a simple place for you to begin:

The True Story of the Most Intense Hurricane You've Never Heard Of

Were there no weather satellites for tracking storms such a hurricanes at that time? Who would have thunk it?

I am familiar with the Okeechobee hurricane, knew who was President in 1935, and you need to read up on Hoover. We would be speaking German were it not for FDR.

Bullshit.

FDR was a fascist murderous tyrant who reinstituted slavery in the USA. In fact, FDR took more slaves than any American in history. He was also the most brutal slave driver in American history and the party of slavery still idolizes him. He was the most evil American in history.

He defeated fascists. Pro Fascists of course despise him, he killed no Americans, we were attacked, then your beloved Germany declared war.

FDR was a fascist tyrant who enslaved Americans to fight his feud against other fascist tyrants.

Of course the jackass party of slavery worships him.

Apparently not.

The one you referenced is Labor Day hurricane actually:....

Yeah, that's what the thread is about, genius.

And then President Hoover.....:badgrin::badgrin::badgrin::badgrin:

What are you confused about?

Hoover was not President in 1935.
