Yea, this is satire but he should have stayed in the penthouse. If he pardons himself, the GOP Congress will come over from the Capitol with pitchforks and torches to drive him out of the White House.

Have to disagree: it’s not satire, it’s an accurate summary of Trump’s backpedaling and lies about Russian involvement in the 2016 General Election.

And if Trump were to ‘pardon himself,’ Congressional Republican would support Trump – a partisan GOP will blindly support any Republican president, no matter what.
