Another partisan poll that is divided by partisan lines. Another day at USMB. Big surprise.

thanks for admitting that obama claiming the stimulus worked is nothing but partisan drivel....

what your feeble mind can't grasp is....if it worked...why is there talk of a second stimulus?

has all the money even been spent yet/

No. Only 1/3 has. Which is why asking if this is a success now is like asking if a five-year plan is successful completely in year two.

I just recently made a thread where the CBO said it was a "conservative" estimate to say that the Stimulus created 1.6 million jobs and will end up creating 2.5 million overall. Facts like those are ignored for partisanship and ideology.

I didn't admit anything except the fact that the support and disapprove of this goes down partisan lines. If you weren't such a dishonest hack then you could admit that to yourself.

And there's a talk of a second stimulus because some felt we should of spent even more the first time. However, in the overall grand scheme of things, I've heard little of it.

if that's true, then without it, there would have been 1.6 million more jobs lost, since there have been as many jobs lost since obama took over as there were between 2007 and 2008.

so......genius.....when obama claimed the stimulus worked, it was nothing but partisan hoopla.....if you weren't such a dishonest hack, then you could admit that as you just claimed this poll and the opinions thereof are partisan.

your second paragraph is not answer, it is an excuse

And imagine the effect of 1.6 million more jobs lost in the economy presently.

It wasn't partisan hoopla. Go look up the CBO and get back to me hack.

The CBO is a non-partisan independent group. But you'll probably smear them as some socialist group to try and get across your drivel.

the CBO's report was not FACT you partisan drool.........it was estimates only

there are no facts as to how many jobs have been created because of hte stimulus....but then, you're too dishonest to admit that

Now let's see. Who am I going to believe?

On one end:

Yurt's Partisan Drivel!

On the other:

Economic Scene - Success of Stimulus Bill Is Noteworthy as Another Is Weighed - NYTimes.com

Just look at the outside evaluations of the stimulus. Perhaps the best-known economic research firms are IHS Global Insight, Macroeconomic Advisers and Moody’s Economy.com. They all estimate that the bill has added 1.6 million to 1.8 million jobs so far and that its ultimate impact will be roughly 2.5 million jobs. The Congressional Budget Office, an independent agency, considers these estimates to be conservative

Hmm, tough choice.

you're so dishonest, you said:

Another partisan poll that is divided by partisan lines

the poll is not partisan. it asks a question regardless of party. now, because i brought to your attention that obama said it worked, obama is not partisan for saying it worked, but oh no..........this poll and the answers here are partisan, but obama's answer isn't....

you're such a hack, you can't even see it

The poll is partisan because this is USMB. The results are going to be down ideological lines. Why don't you look at who voted for what. The people who all voted no bash Obama day in and day out on this board. They also all lean to the right. These are the facts.

LOL..........nice self pwn hack

The positives of whatever have been spent so far are being felt. Future debt is being redistributed to one of my friend's bank account now as he has a job thanks to a bridge project.

My criticism is I don't see much inspiration behind the spending. I'd like to think if you set me loose with that kind of money the United States would have something concrete to show for it. Hitler's Autobahnen, a big array of windmills, something with A plan other than a bunch of little projects.

But oh well. It softens the blow now and will be paid for by taxes during the next good time.

LOL..........nice self pwn hack

Not self pwn, though why the hell are you using the pwn? Where the hell are we? Behind a high school? :eusa_eh:

My point was made, you ignored it. The top economic research firms and the CBO vs your partisanship. I'm going to take the people whose living is this and whose jobs are reliant on getting this information right.

LMAO.....but when obama says it worked, it is not partisan.........but a poll, that doesn't even mention party lines, is posted here, it is partisan, and all who vote are partisan........

but obama isn't

:lol::lol::lol:

you're such an idiot

you gave me a link to support your "fact" about job growth because i said it is not a fact, but an estimate.............and what did your link say:

ESTIMATE

nice self pwn hack, use a link to prove that i am right that it is nothing but estimates and not fact

:lol::lol::lol:

Again, the results are going to be partisan and therefore the poll is partisan. All people who voted no, lean to the right and already disapprove of Obama. Now, when you want to have a legitimate discussion on this topic, let me know.

However, I am not going to lower myself to your childish level when it comes to this. I am using people and companies opinions whose entire time is spent on this. You have your partisanship.

Again:

You

vs.

Top Economic Research Firms and the CBO.

If this were anyone but Obama, you'd be on the same side as me, hack.
