Has Obama been as good/bad as you thought he'd be?

Obama's not a fascist, he's a socialist. He's not a racist, he's a race baiter. He is socialist, not sure why you said he was a fascist. And he's not evil, but he is arrogant and believes he can make decisions over our lives better then we can even though so far he hasn't solved a single problem. He also doesn't hate America, he just believes it needs to be remade in his political ideology, which includes weakening America because his ideology is based on that fairness = sameness and unequal power is counter to that.

As for your hating him, it's sad you hate anyone. And all America won't hate him back because I'm an American who's never going to hate him back. But I do hate what he's doing and will oppose him in any way I can.

See? These are the two sides of the Republican Party.

He is either a "racist" or a "race baiter".

He's either a fascist or a socialist.

He's either evil or he believes he can control our lives.

He hates America and wants it destroyed or he wants American "made over" effectively "destroying it".

You either hate "him" or you hate "every thing he stands for".

And Republicans call me all those names. Honestly, I really can't see any difference between the two Republican positions. The words are "slightly re-arranged", but the meaning is "exactly" the same.

The left got it's collective ass kicked in November. Why?

Americans were very angry the Democrats didn't clean up Republicans mess fast enough. And that is the exact "truth".

Oh my God. That doesn't even make sense. Run along, child.

I thought he'd be one of the worst Presidents ever as both someone steeped in American Values and as an Executive and he has lived up to my expectations

Why am I not surprised?

Forget his socialist ideology, lets just look at his total, complete lack of executive skills. The one and only thing he's done in acting like a CEO was in getting a pliant Congress to pass ObamaCare, almost every other time he's called on to act like POTUS, especially when he hasn't had time to be handed a script, he's a boy in a mans world.

Negative. However, it would take hours to post everything that I have, and that is beyond the scope of this board. But then you probably already knew that didn't you?

the history will reveal it later, they're already displeasure with him in the black man, almost shameful for having him be the first black man elected pres.

He isn't black, he's bi-racial.
Does it really matter either way?

Tens of millions voted for Obama with "It's about time for a black President" as a slogan... I knew many Obama supporters (friends) that said this outright.

Most liberals I would think at this point would deny the “black President” slogan because looking back it’s embarrassing. However history will have a void to fill, that void is of course “what did Obama actually stand for?” History will fill it in and his policies or lack thereof will be reflected as an extension of Bush, one of the more hated presidents in US history… Now Obama’s goal was to be the anti Bush, and it’s clear, at least so far that Obama has failed to be that anti Bush President he promised.

So the question history will answer is why did people vote for someone who when running for president seemed to have no real "change" prepared. "Because he is black" and "Not Bush" will be stained in history thanks to the liberals of our time.

And Obama will be judged by history for the Constitutional crises he brought, and bringing the Constitution, and the Republic to it's knees.

It won't be about the amount of the melanin contained in his DNA.

Oh please plenty of extreme republicans/conservatives said the same exact thing about Clinton, and Carter...just in the world still rotates!

The Good: Heathcare passed; Economy saved and recovering; Tough on Terrorism; Well liked by other nations; Competent when dealing with disasters; Intelligent; Wonderful Speaker; Friendly to Labor.

The Bad: To soft on the GOP; Failed to pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq; Failed to close GITMO.

The Ugly: Extended Bush tax cuts; Trying his best to come off as a Conservative and alienates to the base.

Overall: He's done a remarkable job.

Must disagree with you on Health care, he made it worse, and the economy, he sure as hell has not made it any better. Terrorism? How has he been tough on terrorism?

What terrorist attacks have occurred under Obama's watch in the US again? The better question is how has he been weak on terrorism?

Simply because there have been no attacks since he took office (and may there be none while he is in office) does not mean that he had been tough on terrorism. There have been no attacks since 9/11, period.

I personally, have not seen anything at all to say that he has been tough on terrorism. At best he has been lazy about it. He's done nothing at all.

I have not said he was weak, although, when one looks at his response to the Somali pirates, I could in fact make that case. How long are we going to have to put up with those bastards?

It was the Bush election that brought a Constitutional crisis. 5 to 4

His color is not the issue, it is his politics, and his background. He clearly does not understand America. His past associates are almost to the man radical anti-American fools.
He ought to enter the new Houston Black Spelling Bee, maybe that is something he could excel at.

We conservative gave him the office because of lack of leadership and we deserve what we got. We still don't have a leader and I am worried.

If we survive this radical idiot Obama and his Comrades in Arms administration, we will be LUCKY

We somewhat survived the last one. I suspect we will survive this one, but we seem to be living on borrowed time and pushing our luck.
