It seems that Isis has had its best day. Paris attacks n plane Bombing . Since then air strikes seem to have taken its toll. They are losing ground and there are reports of high level guys dead and wounded .

Some GOP candidates have been betting on Isis fear as part of their campaigns. Will this backfire if Isis fades ?

You need to get up to speed. ISIS has expanded in Libya and is trashing the hell out of the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Now think of what Obama and Hillary have left ISIS in Libya. One fifth of the worlds oil supply.
Special. All because they wanted to depose Gaddafi.

ISIS gaining ground in Afghanistan

By AFP United Natons, United States Saturday, 26 September 2015
The ISIS group is making inroads in Afghanistan, winning over a growing number of sympathizers and recruiting followers in 25 of the country’s 34 provinces, a U.N. report said Friday.

The militant group, which controls large areas of Syria and Iraq, has been trying to establish itself in Afghanistan, challenging the Taliban on their own turf.

Afghan security forces told U.N. sanctions monitors that about 10 percent of the Taliban insurgency are ISIS sympathizers, according to the report by the U.N.’s al-Qaeda monitoring team.

“The number of groups and individuals who are openly declaring either loyalty to or sympathy with ISIS continues to grow in a number of provinces in Afghanistan,” said the report.

Afghan government sources said “sightings of the groups with some form of ISIS branding” or sympathy were reported in 25 provinces in the war-torn country, it added.

The ISIS-backed groups “regularly engage” Afghan military forces, but fighting with other parts of the insurgency are rare, except in Nangarhar province where they are battling the Taliban for control of the drug trade.

And here's Libya for you Timmy.

"The scope of Islamic State’s attacks on Libya’s eastern oil ports expanded on Wednesday, Libyan officials said, with at least five oil tanks set on fire amid fears the group could inflict long-term damage on the North African nation’s energy industry.

The attacks stoked fears the radical Islamist group plans to undermine the financial viability of a peace agreement between two rival militia groups vying for control of Libya by destroying the country’s main source of revenue.

In December, representatives of Libya’s two rival powers signed a United Nations-brokered power-sharing pact that called for the formation of a national unity government by mid-January.

“I urge the swift formation of a national unity government and the establishment of a unified force structure capable of bringing peace to this country and protecting its natural resources,” said Mustafa Sanallah, chairman of National Oil Co., in a statement posted on the company’s website on Wednesday.

Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Ali al-Hassi, a spokesman for the Petroleum Facilities Guards in charge of securing oil ports, said he would cooperate with “the unity government in any effort to fight terrorism in the country.”

He said four storage tanks were ablaze at eastern Libya’s Es Sider terminal, where Islamic State attacks began on Monday. At the neighboring oil port Ras Lanuf, one other caught fire after the extremist group attacked this week.

A spokesman for the National Oil Co. put the number of burning tanks at seven—five in Es Sider and two in Ras Lanuf.

The oil company spokesman said the tanks were set ablaze by machine gun fire. Firefighters were unable to enter the facilities because of the potential danger, the spokesman said, adding that no armed security personnel remained in Es Sider’s tank area.

Mr. al-Hassi, the Guards’ spokesman, said his force was struggling to repel the attackers. “It is a very difficult situation,” he said. “Pray for us.” He said his group had lost 10 men while 150 Islamic State attackers had been killed, adding the guards had expelled some of the jihadists from the nearby town of Bin Jawad.

The attacks came as the National Oil Co. on Tuesday issued a “cry for help” on its website, urging “all faithful and honorable people of this homeland to hurry to rescue what is left from our resources before it is too late.”

“Just as the country is exhausting its cash reserves, [Islamic State] is trying to make sure Libya cannot use these oil resources in the future,” said Jason Pack, head of U.K.-based consultancy Libya Analysis."

One town. Although I'm thrilled the Iraqis (10,000) finally got rid of ISIS (300). Bravo Iraq!

People don't care about Libya anymore than they care about boku Hiram . That shit won't sell in the sticks.

ISIS is a bunch of bedouins who control a tiny strip of desert wasteland and have twitter accounts. I don't know that you could say they peaked at anything.

They're wildly rich from that so called desert wasteland in Iraq, Syria, now Libya and Afghanistan.

Just JVT eh? And where the hell do you come up with Bedouin?

I think Clinton said "the jihad peaked" after the first attack on the World Trade Center. Pretty sad that the last forlorn hope of the Barry Hussein's left is that ISIS peaked. Note to the left: ISIS hates America and they are sworn to die if that's what it takes to bring the U.S. to it's knees.

JVT is right. They're getting beaten by Iraq's army and the free Syrian army for crying out loud. They are surrounded on all sides by enemies. Let Putin, Iran and Hezbollah have their fun. The best thing for the U.S. Is to be as little involved as possible.

Just pointing out to you that they are by no means finished and are continuing to conquer large swathes of territory.

There was a poll recently conducted that does have bearing on the election. And that was the majority thought the ISIS was winning the war on terror and Obama was at fault.

Did you see the pbs documentary on Isis in Afghanistan? Amazing.

Saudi Arabia and Iran are enemies. Expect the GOP to make a deal with Saudi Arabia. The GOP wants war with Iran and so does Saudi Arabia. So does Israel. October surprise?

They've just taken 25 provinces in Afghanistan. And with their gains in Libya they will affect the oil industry greatly. And all that happened in Iraq is that 10,000 Iraqi soldiers finally were able to seize Ramadi back from 300 ISIS.

And FSA is a joke. And despite our coalition and Putin and Assad they're barely making headway. And Turkey is so worried now that Merkel has sent troops to Turkey's border.

You need to read the links I put up. I'm not giving you my opinion. I'm giving you facts.
