The DREAM: President Hillary Clinton and Secretary General Bill Clinton saving the world together.

Former Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Guterres has been unanimously chosen as the next Secretary-General of the United Nations in a Security Council straw poll.

A formal vote must still be held by the Security Council on Thursday, followed by a vote from the entire 193-member General Assembly, but nearly every source at the UN describes Guterresā€™s confirmation as a certainty. His five-year term will begin on January 1st, succeeding Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

NOTE: The Portagee also knocked the Chicago sewer rat out of the running.

I have to admit that I never thought Taqiyya the Liar was in the running for the top UN job. I knew the Clintons had their eye on the Secretary Generalā€™s job for a long time. The Clinton dream has long been President Hillary Clinton and Secretary General Bill Clinton saving the world together. Barack Taqiyya and the Clintons after the same job triggers a monumental struggle in the dark corners of the New World Order; a struggle the public will never hear about until it is too late.

The only interest I have in Guterres begs one question: Will the new guy move Congress any closer to passing H.R. 75? Answer: Hope springs eternal:

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton was less complimentary of Guterres during a Thursday morning appearance on Breitbart News Daily:

He is a former socialist Prime Minister of Portugal, a great believer in the European Union. And I recall in our first conversation, as he was heading the High Commissioner Office for Refugees, he told me how much he was worried about ā€œpopulismā€ in the Western world ā€“ which he defined as ā€œpeople who wanted control of their own borders.ā€ And so we had, as they say, a polite exchange of views on that subject.

Meet the U.N.'s New Secretary General: 'Tireless Refugee Champion' Antonio Guterres

There is no doubt that securing our borders is the number one issue for a substantial number of voters. I would go so far as to say it is the only issue for a majority of ā€œAMERICANā€ voters. So I just do not see the Portagee, or Hillary Clinton, defending open-borders.

p.s. It is too early to tell if Guterres will be more fun than Goofy Annan, but these jokes are a good start:

PORTAGEE JOKES

ā€œUltimately, the next U.N. secretary-general will be judged on his ability to stand up to the very powers that just selected him, whether on Syria, Yemen, South Sudan, the refugee crisis, climate change or any other problem that comes his way,ā€ Charbonneau added.

Guterres holds no surprises:

It is official. The DREAM is dead.

While itā€™s hardly the election to get the most attention this year, the United Nations General Assembly has confirmed a nominee with a background in socialist politics and refugee matters to be the organizationā€™s new secretary-general.

Unfortunately, the dream has been replaced by a nightmare. Every secretary-general is a Socialist, but this guy makes no bones about it.

ā€œIt should be concerning to have someone with that perspective for thinking along the lines of one-world government at a time when the world is moving away from that, if you look at the European Union,ā€ . . .

Incoming UN Chief a Career Socialist

As a Socialist parasite Guterres naturally wants Americans to pay for his generosity.

I do see a mixture of bad and good:

1. On the bad side Americans will have to give Muslim countries even more just to keep them walking out en masse.

2. On the good side Muslims might wise up to what the UN does to them and tell their governments to walk out of the United Nations now that a Catholic-Socialist is in charge.

It is too early to tell if Guterres will be more fun than Goofy Annan,
Now that the olā€™ Goofer is retired he can give the Portagee his old clown costumes:

UN Secretary-General on Castro's death: "He was a strong voice for social justice..."

Well, sure. With his thuggish tendency towards violence and oppression, Fidel Castro could be considered one of the earliest Social Justice Warriors.

According to Guterres these guys were voices for social justice:

Lenin
Stalin
Mao
