Guns...when the government can't or won't protect you, the Memphis addition...

Yes....one of the reasons people need to have access to guns is when the government cannot or will not protect them from criminals or from the government itself.....in the case of Memphis..they are apparently failing to protect the citizens from criminals....

Fortunately...I believe they can carry guns in Tennessee...

There is very little that will turn the crime faucet to off faster than a high probability of meeting an armed homeowner. Or an armed homeowner and an armed wife. And, as we have pointed out many times, with minimal care there are very few things safer to possess than a gun.

Communities that have done so have, without exception, seen crime rates plummet. Since the apparently has access to ranges and training, I would suggest that they go ahead with their plan. It almost certainly would be an example for what is a community in one of the most crime ridden parts of the United States.
