CArrying a gun illegally is a felony and demonstrates a willingness to use a weapon in the commission of other crimes
There are plenty of drug offenders with no weapons charges that could have been set free
Or it shows a willingness to defend one's self. These cases were scrutinized before action was taken to release anyone. These aren't just random. How much time is required before you believe people have done their time? If someone's already done 20+ years for non violent drug crimes, isn't that enough?
I don't think 20 years for felony gun charges is enough.
As I said there are plenty of nonviolent offenders in jail that do not have felony gun charges
A felony gun charge can also be a non- violent offense fool.
Moron....the two guys who murdered the cousin of Dwane Wade were convicted felons who went to jail on felony gun charges.....they both had ankle monitors because they were on parole........and these two felons with illegal guns murdered that woman.......
If a felon convicted of a violent crime has a gun, he goes in for 30 years......if we did that to these two...that woman would still be alive...
