Sometimes they close a BS thread, even if you are furiously making a scathing response.
Would you rather let them allow the BS thread to continue? I'm voting "no" on that.

No......…the thread wasn't deleted, it was merrrrrrrged and of course it was a BS thread cause it was from a dimwit...….who deserved every scathing response I could come up with...……...so there

I WAS quite physically fit, 35-40 YEARS ago! THEN I had a couple serious girlfriends, (NOT both at the same time!) this lasted for about 5 years, which of course caused to me to increase my beer drinking just to stay sane. THIS was the start of my spiral down into blobdom. Oh well, I DID occasionally have some "physical" fun during these years, if you know what I mean...............

Airing complaints about Moderation actions in public is a self defeating action, take it to the PM system instead where it belongs.

The complaint isn't about Mod actions but to the unsubmitted post being deleted during those actions & no longer retained

NO......I said the new system with the site changes now deletes prepared but unsubmitted posts, whereas the old system retained them.


When you are typing up a response, then hit submit, but are locked out for mod action......when they unlock it but your post is deleted and no longer retained like it had been before the site changes.

I am glad it no longer retains unsubmitted posts, because I can start new in the same thread without the unsubmitted stuff I decided to drop still sitting in the box.

I tried different ways to deleted it without submitting, it comes back like magic, I even left the thread then come back, it was still there, even left the forum to someplace else, come back it was still there.

I ended up erasing it, then start a new comment in place, but even then when posting the new comment, previous quoted posts were still there, making it a mess.

Ohhhh I hated that!

Never experienced that anywhere else, and I have been a member of 50 forums since 1998.

I do agree about that part of the problem with the old system...……..but if you've spent a good deal of time & effort into a post, then it gets deleted...….is a bigger PITA. Atleast before you just had to highlight it & hit delete (or was it backspace?)

I have made long posts only to see it vanish when I accidentally delete it, before I could submit it.

Of COURSE you are, Lucy! You have five little ones, another well on its way, AND you have to take care of your hubby. THAT would take a LOT of fitness!

One correction to the above: Mr. Lucy takes care of me, WHEN I am Off Duty I am as always a lady of leisure and I have him very well trained for example in the MOST important things, examples of the MOST important things are below:

I sit there and he paints my fingernails and toe nails.

I sit there and he brings me ice cream he has personally made in his ice cream machine.

When I am allowed to drink, I sit there and he mixes my Martini's, I of course TAUGHT him EVERYTHING he knows about how to mix Martini's.

I sit there and without prompting he will make me a ham sammich.

I sit there and without prompting he grills bacon for me.

I sit there and we have GREAT discussions about Domestic things and how to do something and we discuss these things for like an HOUR sometimes and Mr. Lucy gives his own opinions about these things and then after the hour discussion he AGREES that YES I was CORRECT and he'll do things how I suggested,

After taking the time, doing research and preparing a lengthy response with links and argument, when hitting submit I'm locked out of the thread because of mod action, is really irritating when the thread is locked & closed from further replies...…...but what's worse is when threads are merged, and my whole response is GONE and have to start over. I ain't playing that.....atleast in the old system, it would save my response and I could chose to either resubmit or delete as appropriate.

Hey, Lucy, I have a PORNOGRAPHIC PHOTOGRAPHIC memory! Every porn pic I've seen is somehow embedded in my somewhat scrambled mind. But in my case, virtually ALL of these pics are pleasing to the eye of my memories!

I think in approx 2022 you could apply to become a Ninja, in 2022 the Ninja Recruit Team is going to be in Indiana

Of COURSE you are, Lucy! You have five little ones, another well on its way, AND you have to take care of your hubby. THAT would take a LOT of fitness!

One correction to the above: Mr. Lucy takes care of me, WHEN I am Off Duty I am as always a lady of leisure and I have him very well trained for example in the MOST important things, examples of the MOST important things are below:

I sit there and he paints my fingernails and toe nails.

I sit there and he brings me ice cream he has personally made in his ice cream machine.

When I am allowed to drink, I sit there and he mixes my Martini's, I of course TAUGHT him EVERYTHING he knows about how to mix Martini's.

I sit there and without prompting he will make me a ham sammich.

I sit there and without prompting he grills bacon for me.

I sit there and we have GREAT discussions about Domestic things and how to do something and we discuss these things for like an HOUR sometimes and Mr. Lucy gives his own opinions about these things and then after the hour discussion he AGREES that YES I was CORRECT and he'll do things how I suggested,

Wow, very nice! I believe you DO have him nicely trained. Good for you!

He is of course adorable and VERY intelligent and handsome and charming and I worship him and he is FANTASTIC with our kidlets, he has always been hands-on with them and he gets 10 out of 10 from Day Nanny AND Night Nanny, who now both are living with us. I made the correct choice with Mr. Lucy, he is dependable and he would never let anyone down, he literally is the type you would want to be in a bunker with....of course you also literally would want ME in that bunker also because I am military trained in all the guns and I would shoot first and not allow ANY questions after

Yes and yes! Also JUST to make sure Mr. Lucy stays alert at ALL times when we are out I introduce him as my current husband, he thinks this is hilarious
