These are the people who lecture you about your "privilege."

“People are stressed and frazzled running up and down the strip. There are multiple conferences going on, a big poker event and getting luxury cars for artists has been a disaster,” one source told Page Six.

“Stylists are having meltdowns because there are no expert tailors like LA, and they have to lug couture gowns and tuxedos through smoky casinos that smell bad,” the first source said.

Amid music people problems — artists are also having to scale back their entourages due to limited credentials this year and there will be a serious shortage of big music label parties.

LOL. The struggle is real.

Is this comment from the 1960's? They haven't allowed smoking in casinos for decades now......unless you are in a private room.

Meh, Vegas is set up to be a convention town...or to hold major in hall sporting events like boxing. Not a showcase for glitz and glamour.

Huh? In decades? That's not true at all, it's been several years since I've been to Vegas, but there was smoking in every casino. Same in Reno, the smoke was everywhere.

Can I Smoke in a Vegas Casino?

Yes. As stated above, Vegas casinos can allow smoking in gaming zones where minors are prohibited. This means many of the Las Vegas casinos to permit smoking do so in outside areas or in the gaming pits. The MGM Grand is perhaps the most famous smoking casino in Vegas but still doesn’t allow hotel guests to smoke in their rooms. Failure to adhere to this will lead to a fine of up to $1000.

Las Vegas Smoking Casinos

While all Vegas casinos have some form of smoke-free zone, the below are credited with offering smoking options for players…

  • MGM Grand
  • Resorts World Las Vegas (only on the gaming floor)
  • Las Vegas Sands (only on the gaming floor)
  • The Venetian and Palazzo (only on the gaming floor)
  • Wynn Resorts (players must wear as mask unless actively smoking, while table games without plexiglass are designated as nonsmoking, nonvaping tables)
  • Caesars (players can lower their mask to smoke)

there is still smoking but just in certain parts of the casino....there are also no smoking areas.....

I attend an event in Reno every year, throughout every casino I go through there is smoke in pretty much every area. It's awful, and after a couple of days my throat is toast for a few days afterwards.
it could be up to the casinos.....the ones i have been to around me here in Vegas have smoking and no smoking sections...

Meh, African-American Mutual Appreciation Society part II, I wonder who will be slapped or killed at this one.
Are there any outdoor concerts going on where a white guy can shoot dozens? If slapping scares you, what will you do if Rambo opens fire? Wear your sheet and hood and maybe you`ll be spared.

Who did you think would be in the casinos during Hot August Nights? Bikers are big smokers.

That was not the event I was referring to, but while I agree gear heads, and bikers are people with a higher percentage that smoke than the general population, I think it's more than that. I think people that gamble a lot are more prone to vices, and that's why you see a lot of smokers in casinos.

I agree. I used to go to Reno/Tahoe often. I don't gamble, but I used to go to the casinos to eat. The food deals were amazing until the advent of so many Indian casinos. They put an end to that.

Pretty sure The Mirage and TI allow it too.
