Don't be so lazy. Salon is usually able to back up there articles with neutral and objective sources. All you have to do is a 30 second search to find other sources reporting the same story. You're serious, right?

Yes. It does not matter if you are right, left, liberal, conservative or whatever. If it is an important news story to you it is your duty to investigate it before making an informed opinion. The failure to do so leads to an uninformed opinion. This thread and the comment about Salon by Sassy is a perfect example. Sassy challenges the story when a simple search shows that local media is covering the event and in fact demonstrations are taking place. The demonstrations are in fact able to be viewed on video from local media.

Notice the guy with the states rights flag as an avatar has a problem with state citizens asking to impeach their governor. Hypocrisy in action.
