No sane person would deny that abortion is ugly and traumatic, and I've never met anyone who is pro-abortion. However, I know lots of folks who are pro-choice.
Who has priority: Mother or fetus? Roe v. Wade gives the mother priority. Anti-choice zealots want to give the fetus priority.
What say you?
I don't believe you. If YOU really felt that abortion was ugly and traumatic then you would not support the practice and you know you do. This is like saying that the death camps in Germany were ugly and traumatic but you do nothing to stop the atrocities. You can't have it both ways. Claim some sort of high moral ground yet support the killing of the most innocents.
Priority, live or death.
As for no one supporting abortion you could be no further from the truth. As any sane person knows the abortion industry rose out of eugenics and that thought is alive today.
William H. Gates Sr., former head of eugenics group Planned Parenthood
Bill Gates' father, William H. Gates Sr., has long been involved with the eugenics group Planned Parenthood, a rebranded organization birthed out of the American Eugenics Society. In a 2003 interview with PBS' Bill Moyers, Bill Gates admitted that his father used to be the head of Planned Parenthood, which was founded on the concept that most human beings are just "reckless breeders" and "human weeds" in need of culling.

That all said, I do not support a Constitutional ban, I say leave it to the states to decide. Those who wish to uphold life will reap the harvest as will those who wish to trivialize life then wonder why our children do the same.
