I'd like for you to address my list of reasons why not and tell me where I've gone wrong! I just don't think this is something we can just say will work,, close our eyes, and hope for the best. Has anybody in government actually done any studies?? cost benefit anaylsis?? overdrafts??? repercussions to failure?? these jerks sign 950 page bills and they have no idea what's in them.. please,, we need sanity..what happens when a surgery,, oh say a Gallbladder surgery that's supposed to cost 5 grand has complications and ends up costing 100 grand.. what happens when there is a shortage of doctors and equipment.. ya know Canada has maybe 2 MRI machines to our 300,, they are scarce and the waiting lists are long.. no one has addressed how it will be handled,, the problems with this have long been documented and it happens in countries with 30 million people not 400 million people.. are you ready to just step right in???

What is NOT the solution, is to have the government take over and instigate a national healthcare plan, making it mandatory of its' citizens. I think we already have the solution. Each and every person is responsible for themselves. If you are too lazy to seek a job and pay for a healthcare program for yourself, then you have just fucked yourself. Nobody else did it for you. Get off welfare, get a job and be a RESPONSIBLE U.S. citizen. Pay your share of the cost of ourmilitary and other security matters. Pay your share of building and maintaining our super highways and rivers/dams. The damn leeches are killing us who worked for a living and were responsible enough to pay our fair share of maintaining our society. Now that I am retired and have paid into the socialistic government mandated medicare, I expect my full share of healthcare with decent and qualified doctors and nothing less.
