I think it's been.proven that Assad has no control over the activities of Sunni militants in regions bordering Iraq. Now Hezbollah, that's another story, and Syria is a state sponsor of terrorism.

WTF? Democrats have been undermining Bush's liberation of Iraq ever since Saddam was hanged by his own people. Barry Hussein decided that the relatively benign dictatorship in Libya should be deposed and the power vacuum ended up with the muslem brotherhood. Apparently Barry Hussein decided to substitute the muslem brotherhood for every country in the Mid EAST Including Egypt and Syria. The last time I looked Barry Hussein was still president. How in the world could leftieds blame republicans for the mess in the mid-east?

Invading Iraq destabilized the ME.
