I plan to go gambling in Shreveport, LA this weekend. I wish there were good casino gambling in Texas. Oh well. If I win, I will win some money (subtract what I will spend on gasoline and possible overnight housing). If I lose, Louisiana will get some of my money that Texas would have received if it had legalized casino gambling. Oh well. I plan to have a fun trip and play some fun games.

I hope you enjoy yourself. I'm not a heavy gambler but I go to Vegas once a year and, for what I would have spent on dinner and a show here in NYC, can gamble for a few days.

It's great fun...especially to watch people losing $100's of thousands of bucks on cards...or even better, win it!

What does this have to do with homeland issues or news?

Oh lighten up. The category is "General USA Chat". I was subtly implying that Texas should allow casino gambling.

That's fine, I was only trying to understand your point.
