Aurora, one of Minnesota’s largest solar energy projects, has become a financial and legal morass.

Scores of subcontractors have filed a blizzard of claims, saying they were not paid for their work on the $290 million project that was completed last month. One of the attorneys involved estimated that at least $85 million is owed. Lawsuits, unpaid bills cast shadow over large Minnesota solar energy project

With all the "free" energy this is 'projected" to produce you would think paying your contractors would be a piece of cake.

Minne-fuckin-sota?
Are they not aware of how far north they are?
How many tax dollars were flushed down the toilet for this boondoggle?
Or are there actually enough idiots with money to waste to build something this stupid with their own money?

The parent company made $80 billion last year. This is just legal squabbling.

Besides, better to invest in future technologies than try to take things back to the 19th century.

Aurora is owned by Enel Green Power North America, an arm of Enel SpA, a Rome-based, multinational power company that in 2016 had revenue of $80 billion

If you think revenue is "what the company made", you're even dumber than you first appeared.
