GM profits slip 41%- Papa Obama takes full blame -'you didn't get there on your own'

GM's losses were mainly in Europe but I'm sure you geniuses can find a way of blaming that on Obama too.

What? GM outsoursed American jobs to Eurpoe? No fucking way.

I'm beginning to think you may actually be as stupid in real life as you are on this board.

Stupid????Ya think????? I don't...[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lvl5Gan69Wo&feature=player_detailpage]General Motors is becoming China Motors - YouTube[/ame]

Do you know why GM has plants in China?

Because the Government places a 33% tax on MSRP for all imported cars. So it would just be cheaper to do it Domestically in China and bring the profit back home to the US.
Similar situation with the Euro union since they have a set amount of regulations for a whole bunch of connected countries, including the UK who happens to drive on the opposite side of the road.

It's cheaper to manufacture and sell domestically.

You don't even have a clue to whats going on why people make these financial decisions and you are very quick to point your finger and blame. Well done. :eusa_clap:

NO...the whole industry is run by the state and they don't have greedy Unions either, do they?

"Our results in North America were solid, but we clearly have more work to do to offset the headwinds we face, especially in regions like Europe and South America," said GM chairman and CEO Dan Akerson. "Despite the challenging environment, GM has now achieved 10 consecutive quarters of profitability, which is a milestone the company has not achieved in more than a decade."

Sweet. GM is alive; Osama bin Laden is dead.

Bears repeating!

Ok, I admit it. It was my fault for vowing to never buy another Government Motors car.

Sadly, your bumperstickerism is about the smartest thing you've said. Still trolling and all__ and plagiarism. So still a fail. But just sayin__

GM's a zombie company in the same sense as the banks the Fed kept continually propping up instead of closing them during the savings and Loan crisis. Remember them, "We're offering 15% on your savings deposits, $250,000 minimum deposit, 1 year CD minimum length deposit"

too funny

Well how long til another bailout of GM...untill they ditch the unions.....their cars will still suck and be expensive....liberals cant figure this out....

they already did, look up Delphi automotive, they got hosed....no hope, not even change.

Got hosed? Or got caught up with Enron style accounting after GM made them an independent company. What bailout did they get? They failed, and the bankruptcy judge sold off its assets to help pay the creditors.

I guess your "ignore" is sort of spotty there, eh scumbag?

Only a 41% drop is GREAT! Just think how much worse it would have been if they hadn't done all those subprime loans, stuffed the dealer channel, and sold off inventory to the Federal Gubmint!
