German President Steinmeier (Svoboda, Jaysh al-Islam) visited Moscow today. At the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier he praised the grandeur of the magnificent Stalingrad cauldron and vowed to make an even better and larger one. During his stirring speech he slurped the traditional Stalingrader Pferdesuppe (mit großen Fleischbrocken), the famous horse soup that helped to nourish the 300000 German troops when the Russians kept all their foodstuffs for themselves alone!
Although he thanked the Russian government for giving the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul back to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Russia on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation he stressed the horse soup was bad and the German-Russian relationship will not improve. He then threatened Gorbachev with the new kettle that he promised will boil that hot and loud that the Russians will surrender.
