The Democrats had already decided to go with the Nuclear Option before they held this sham. They were very disingenuous. I think most common sense thinking Americans understand this. It was a sad dog & pony show for sure.

Even one of the dems' biggest pom-pom wavers in the MSM can see that the whole charade bombed out.

Looks like the only ones calling this a big win for the administration are the 20% club.

Obama is a fool. His lack of executive experience keeps revealing itself. That made-for-TV discussion advanced his bill about as much as videotaping himself eating Apple Jacks with his kids would have.

The votes are barely there in the house, if at all, and other than promises of campaign money or pork, he has shown no ability to win votes on his own, forcing him to be dependent on Pelosi. Even Clinton didn't try to rely on Tom Foley his first two years, he understood how to work Congress on his own. And there's a decent chance Old Nan won't be speaker after 2011.

Obama doesn't have the wisdom or strength of character to move on, and will just keep making himself look like a fool as he continues trying to shove his agenda on a country that doesn't want it.

    Amen, SwingVoter.

This clown had a 70+ House majority and 60 Senate seats and couldn't do squat. It's called leadership and he's devoid of it due to his complete lack of real world executive/management experience.

The idiot thinks talking is the way to solve everything. Heck, it worked when he was a community organizer, didn't it? LOL...welcome to the Big Show, Barry. Enjoy it while you can as the minors await your return.
