What do we think of this ?

On the one hand it would be a bit scary findng that you were a suspect in a case.

On the other hand it would help the police track dangerous people. Paedos for example

It's pretty twisted, like being within a certain distance and timeframe where a crime was committed makes you guilty of the same crime.

I'm not sure how close in time and distance you have to be to be declared a suspect, and what is worse is that even eyewitnesses may be off by half an hour or more if there was no other evidence.

doesnt always mean youre a suspect,,,if you were close to an event you might have information that helps arrest those that did it,,,

The cops lost their faith and fell from grace here. You don't ever get off the NICS gun control and 9/11 no-fly lists once you are no longer a suspect on any bona fide investigation; only a subject singled out on a rap sheet for general harassment by federal state and local police everywhere.

Well. We the people have guns, and an armed citizenry is always dangerous to police officers who would much prefer that we helplessly raise our hands in the air when they pull their weapons on us face to face, because they *usually* shoot at us from behind when they really want to kill us.

Maybe? Depends on the case.
