They still do, or haven't you been paying attention? The claim is that Bush started the program and that Obama just continued it, a direct and verifiable lie. Or that something similar was tried under Bush so Obama was just repeating what Bush did, again a lie the programs only similarity is that guns went to Mexico. 400 under Bush 2300 or more under Obama. Further under Bush the Mexicans were involved and it stopped because they could not track the weapons once in Mexico. Obama did not even inform the Mexicans under Fast and Furious and no effort was made to arrest anyone or track the weapons.

Only after the story broke that firearms used to murder a border patrol officer came from Fast and Furious was any thing done and then a couple arrests of people that claim that the Government made a deal with them.
