You think Hillary is in charge of making the call now ?

BTW--If she would have stumped some more for Kerry he would have won--that cracks me up !!

Maybe she didn't want Kerry to win....

I find it interesting that the divisive politics that we now are all too familiar with actually started in earnest during the Clinton years. Is that a coincidence? I don't think so.

Both Hillary and Bill Clinton are radicals from the 1960s. They have studied Marxist and Socialist literature. After I read/heard about Hillary's college days and some of things she was up to at Yale Law School...I am convinced that she (and Bill) have changed the Democratic Party into their image.

That is, a party of confrontation, not compromise, a party of rhetoric not deeds, a party that demonizes the opposition, a party that is in love with power for its own sake, not as a means of accomplishing an end e.g. furthering the public good.

The Democratic Party would be doing itself a big favor if it took the likes of those two vultures and threw them out of the party. It would be doing itself a big favor if it truly started pursuing a populist/centrist policy. What I am inferring is a party that is more like that of FDR and JFK (the REAL JFK) than of Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao.

But I don't think it will happen because many of the Democratic Party elites are themselves 1960s radicals schooled in the philosophies of Marx and Lenin. They've embraced the likes of Hillary and Bill Clinton, and in the process made a deal with the Devil.

So what is left of the Democratic Party is a sham, an empty shell of what it once was. A party of obfuscation and denigration. It accomplishes nothing, has no new ideas. Its solutions are more government (which increases their power) or blaming Bush (demonizing the opposition).

Like Ronald Reagan once said "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, it left me". I think that speaks for some of us on this board as well.

Fully Agreed-----I'm wondering if the Dems can accept that the Clintons torpedoed Kerry
