Gay Jesus satire on Netflix sparks religious outcry

Not sure what the big deal is... Plus I haven’t seen the show in order to really comment on it. I’ve differed in opinion from the critics too many times...

The "big deal" is that the film was made just to troll Christians. Sort of like when Liberal Journalist Larry Flynt wrote a story about Jerry Falwell where he reported a lie that Rev. Falwell lost his virginity to his mum in an outhouse.

This film has no probative value, its just made to honk people they hate off.

Why would a movie, “honk” anyone off? It’s a movie... It’s not real. Everyone knows that. Riiight? Or is this like that thing with the Muslims where they get all but hurt when someone draws a picture of Mohammed?

People take their religions very seriously, the producers of this flick knew that fact.

That seems a bit presumptive. It doesn’t exactly sound like the fans of the religion are gonna be lining up to see it. Kinda hard to get upset if you don’t watch it...
