I have been told people watch this only because of the sex and violence.

And weirdly I haven't watched it yet.

I don't like boring sitcoms. I want something with war and politics. I don't mind sex if it does not get in the way of a good story.

The sex and violence are great, but so is the rest of it. Just don't expect dragons to ever do anything. And try not to get attached to any of the characters.

The sex isn't explicit like porn. If someone uses GoT or basicly anything on premium cable in lieu of porn wow are they stupid.

Mostly dynamic but sometimes it hits a drag here and there. Generally speaking, it is a good series, well, I like it.. I do not think you'll regret watching it. Lot of war, fantasy, politics...some sex.

And the books are outstanding. Sometimes he has so many characters that it's difficult to keep everything straight but very good books.

By the way, googling around there are actual 'porn parody' versions for GoT and Daenerys. The lesbian one I'm looking at resulted in my thinking I musta missed that episode, think I'd remember it. No links, pretty sure actual porn links is a no-no so use your imagination.

Great writing, great actors, great directing, outstanding special effects
