Rand actually had a pretty good speech there as well.
Obviously the irony of a political movement which is fundamentally reactionary referring to the future is lost on its members. We Are The Future Rally

Without someone like Ron Paul around to say the same fucking thing over and over and over and over ad nauseum, the movement will be glazed over before Jan. 2013.
The movement also lacks someone with the consistency Ron Paul carried within a seat in government.
Which means that those who try to keep this movement alive will have little to no MSM resources and even less in the political arena. Rand is a fucking moron who would rather play politics than stand for principles, so there is that.
I realize it's early on in the end of this love affair, but the reality is that the movement is essentially over. But thanks for all you did and tried to do Dr. Paul. You'll receive my vote this last round regardless.

I'm not sure about that though. I thought after 08 he would fade and it was over THEN. But he stayed on course and did his thing and the C4L made a lot of progress and got a lot of people involved and educated and look how many delegates he won this year.Without someone like Ron Paul around to say the same fucking thing over and over and over and over ad nauseum, the movement will be glazed over before Jan. 2013.

Paul: " . . . ."
The ^ slightly edited version makes more sense than Ron Paul saying the same shit over and over and over.
He ran as a Republican. But he doesn't endorse (no not really or fully endorse) the Republican opponent to the worst liberal fuck-up in the history of the Oval Orifice.
I grant you that along the way, Ron Paul had some good things to say.
But, still, I'm glad he's going.
I'm sure you do.
