We have people claiming that the fish off the coast of California are dangerous due to the spreading radiation from the leaking reactors at Fukushima. And many people will believe it.

...which is not to say that they (we) don't have a horrific nightmare cleanup that will cost billions and take a couple lifetimes to conclude. But that's mainly because it was stupid to build a nuke plant where they chose to build it.

Also, had they gone with a Westinghouse PWR rather than a GE BWR, the power outage would have been a non-factor. Just sayin'.
