It was a stupid comment and perhaps even a joke. Diciplined maybe but not fired. It goes back to this "facebook" world. How stupid to send personal stuff to 333 people and not understand the implications.

William Joyce, I concur with the judge in this case. I do not believe Ms. Jennifer O'Brien is mentally ready for teaching young children: First grade pupils are not structured and are sent to formal schooling to be taught societal manners. A first grade teacher should be well-prepared to manage these children, not fuss or stigmatize the pupils.

Thus, I think Ms. O'Brien may be better teaching much older children. She is just not what I would recommend in a first grade classroom. We already have the entire school system and doctors stigmatizing children for simply being children and loading them with drugs before they are old enough to even spell their names. I want teachers in classrooms who are patient and dedicated in helping build our tomorrows.
