Terror attacks against those sworn to defend their citizens. Europe is in a constant state of high alert it seems.

France vehicle attack leaves at least six soldiers injured

Six French soldiers were injured Wednesday in a vehicle attack while they were leaving their barracks outside Paris.

Two of the soldiers were seriously injured, authorities said.

The driver fled the scene and authorities said a search is underway. A police spokesperson said the vehicle deliberately targeted the soldiers, but the specific motive remained unclear.

The service members were part of Opération Sentinelle, an anti-terrorism operation that was created after 2015 Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris. The mission's aim is to protect civilians.

Local Mayor Patrick Balkany said the incident had "without any doubt" been deliberate. "It's an odious act of aggression," he told BFM-TV.

The incident is the latest of several attacks targeting French security forces guarding public sites following a number of terrorist attacks

These scattered, unorganized attacks are bothersome, but actually they show how little widespread support extremists have. Modern society is so fragile that if a dedicated, sizable group truly wanted to, daily disruptions of much greater magnitude could easily be carried out.

It only took 2 people to do the Boston Bombing. It doesn't take a sizeable group to set off bombs that can injure and kill hundreds of people or drive a truck into a crowd of people. I can't recall any terror attacks that have been carried out in US or Europe requiring more than a dozen or so terrorists. Can you?

Hamou B., the suspect of the Levallois attack, is still not audible by the police.
This Algerian in regular situation, unknown to the services, is the main suspect of the attack of Levallois-Perret, which aimed Wednesday morning a group of soldiers of the operation Sentinel.

It is by recovering his residence card after the "muscular" arrest carried out Wednesday on the A16 that the police discovered the identity of the main suspect of the attack of Levallois-Perret: the identity paper answers to the name Of Hamou B., an Algerian born in 1980. He was checked in 2009 when he did not have an administrative document. He was then briefly on file for "ILE", which is a violation of the legislation on foreigners. "But this is an old procedure since its situation has been regularized since then," says a source close to the file.
Located in the Val-d'Oise region where he lives, Hamou B. holds a position known as "stable and declared" as a VTC driver.
At no time was this man with a characteristic beard fired by the anti-terrorist services in the eyes of which he appears to be a complete stranger. While awaiting further verifications in his locker, it seems that this man has never been convicted in France. "It did not appear in the Islamist spectrum," said an informed source, recalling that "it would not be the first to go to the act while under radars ..."
Wounded by five bullets during his arrest, he was first placed in police custody before he was promptly arrested for treatment. The police will have to wait until they receive their first statement. Thursday morning, a police source told Agence France-Presse that the man was still hospitalized in Lille, and "not yet audible" by the police.
The anti-terrorist prosecutor's office has seized the investigation, which is open for "attempted murders of persons holding public authority in connection with a terrorist enterprise".

Actually----I see no logic in your sweeping conclusion that the scattered attacks "show how little wide-spread
support "extremists" have." You did some sort of study?

Of course there is the obvious solution, like not letting the Islmao-Nazis immigrate in the first place, and then proceed to ban the entire ideology and close down their nests of murderers they call 'Mosques' and deport them for the criminal gangsters they are. The Koran is just what Geert Wilders said it was, nothing but a hate speech screed. It's ridiculous to have no problems banning garbage like Mein Kampf and Nazi symbols and then turning around and tolerating and even worse an more murderous form of degenerate criminal mentality, just because some sexual neurotics and their insipid airhead sympathizers hate Da Evul Xians and want to annoy them.

I say that countries like France and Germany do not give the last name of a terrorist it is to protect him and his relatives. As for Hamou.B
