We need to make cuts somewhere because our citizens are doing without in major ways.

The States need to start looking at all of those institutions not paying property taxes....like hospitals that don't pay taxes because of their "charity" work. Or all of those claiming exemptions because they are labeled as "education". We keep paying more and we have less to show and when the cuts come it is always our own that do without.

Some of these religious institutions also need to start being taxed. Especially those Mega churches.

I'm not interested in the actual churches but the hospitals associated with the churches need to be taxed. We keep paying to cover the cost of these folks.
