Fox News injecting itself further into the GOP primaries...

Interesting.

Foxnews is saying that all candidates vying to be in the important (very important) 10 candidate debate will have to have their financial disclosures filed to be eligible,

even though the law allows for 2 45 day extensions for filing.

GOP candidates must turn in financial disclosure on time to get into first debate - The Washington Post

Foxnews making up the rules. What are they up to????
Fuck Fox News and all the cable news channels (see? I agree with Obama on something) it's time that CPAC host its own debates and invite the networks that comply with their terms.

Ask Dish Network what greedy fucks Fox News are, BTW.
Did you miss FOX during Dish Network blackout?

Nope, but my Directv bill went up. They are the most expensive channel in your lineup, their greed driving up the cost of cable. But that's ok with them because they know idiots will keep blaming the cable and satellite providers.

Could they possibly be Trumpting up something? (-:

If the Foxnews people want Trump out then this is one good shot at it. I had thought of this possibility the day before it came out. lol, too bad I didn't make a post about it.

Trump is claiming he'll file on time. He will prove me wrong if he does and I will happily take my medicine.

Trump will never file a financial disclosure. He always drops out before he has to file

Maybe he won't drop out. His ego is brushed up by the poll numbers. Let's just wait and see.

Please, after watching commentators from the leading propaganda slingers steer previous debates through, ignoring of participants, improper phrasing of questions and countless other deceitful ploys, Fox will probably be one of the most fair and impartial ......................

Besides it's there fucking sand box, they get to make the rules.

I guess FOX can set the rules for participation on its own platform. Federal rules do not apply, do they?

I guess they can. That doesn't make it right, necessarily. The question here is what is Fox's motive in concocting this particular rule?

How is it in any way wrong? Jesus, you people get worked up over the stupidest shit.
We're not worked up, we're happy.

He's the second coming of Sarah Palin.

Faux News is running the Republican Party now and they will still attempt to claim it isn't a propaganda outlet for the Republican Party.

Conservatives, you have officially become a parody of yourselves. Trump, Palin, Bachmann, Faux News...you are a collection of mentally ill buffoons.

Yes, they are making up the rules for who eligible to be in the debate that they are sponsoring. So What?

Why make a rule that is contrary to federal elections law as to candidates' eligibility?
The rule is not contrary to federal elections law. The financial disclosure is required by the FEC. However, since this debate is over a year before the actual election, there is not time to have two 45 day extensions before the date of this debate.

MODERATOR: Mr. Trump, I see from your financial disclosure you made $100,000 in income from a Hong Kong brothel. Would you care to explain?

TRUMP: Nope. By the way, one of my shell companies is in partnership with the parent company which owns your network. You're fired.

FOX NEWS MODERATOR: Governor Walker, according to your financial statement, you own a large chunk of stock in a coal mining company that is run by the Koch Brothers. How were you able to afford all that stock on a Governor's salary?

WALKER: We agreed you weren't going to ask me about that!

FOX NEWS MODERATOR: Oops! Sorry about that. Is it too late for the seven second delay to cut that out?

FOX NEWS MODERATOR: Senator Rand, have you stopped beating your wife?

LOL And that is what you get when propaganda outlet Faux News runs a Republican anything.

Honestly, Republicans, you have become a joke of a party. No kidding, WTF is going on with you dopes. You let a tv station dictate YOUR debates? RonaldTheSocialistReagan must be spinning in his grave.

The Republican party has in essence ceased to exist, it is now a hobby of Rupert Murdoch and the Koch Brothers.

Their house, their rules.

Yeah. That's not the point.

I am not worked up. You are.

A televised debate in the presidential race, primary or general, is an extremely important part of the electoral process, like it or not. Candidates are at the mercy of them, and at the mercy of whatever rules are set.

Foxnews is purposely inventing a rule that for no good reason could aversely affect candidates who are otherwise perfectly eligible to be in this debate.

WHY?

Well, you took time out of your day to start a thread over it... let it go man, Fox News is living rent free in your head.. and there isn't that much room in there to start with.

Do you realize that Jeb Bush and Donald Trump are currently the two most vulnerable to be adversely affected by this rule?

Don't project your drama queen mentality on me. If the thread doesn't interest you, don't post in it as if it does.

Good, I don't want either one of them.
