I would like to add, Medicare pays 80% and no prescriptions , dental care or hearing aids. (in the US)
Also Canada has many rural areas and those in those rural areas use the ER's. I can assure you, unless you have an emergency wait times in the US are about the same and cost more.
You know what the real issue is, many people do not become family DR's in the US or anywhere, they all specialize and in the report it said Canadians are using doctors more (well they have insurance and can)
Yes building 10 at the NIH is working with immunotherapy, but those people are disabled. Most research is gov funded in the US so that is not going to change.
Can Canada work on their healthcare, sure everything needs to be worked on.
The real issue is the wealthy do not want to wait, how Cheney got a heart I'll never know(how do you think?)
