Just goes to show what miracles Marines can make when they have some actual brain power behind them.

Lol, seriously, this is an impressive feat from WW2 that is not often spoken of.

Actually the operation was led by Marine Maj. Ortiz. The The soldier was a member of the Army Air Corps. The group supplied French Resistance fighters and taught them how to use the weapons. They were finally pinned down by Germans and surrendered.
