As it appears with the approaching and long time needed end of a deplorable GOPer House majority spewing destructive threats, deficit creating at wasting billions in taxpayer money, intimidations and engaging in efforts to destroy the well being of society and anything else of a civilized nature, what will this fake and menacing so-called president tRump do over this surprise win for Democracy? This without his anti Democracy conspiring GOPer cronies in there scheming up destructive laws as so-called law makers.

GOP leaders aim to avert shutdown over wall funding, but Trump makes no promises

Trump did not commit Thursday to avoiding a partial government shutdown next month if lawmakers don’t give him money to build a border wall, a top Republican senator said, raising the potential for a high-stakes budget battle as the GOP prepares to lose its grip on Congress.

Senate Appropriations Chairman Richard C. Shelby (Ala.) and other GOP leaders met with Trump on Thursday about ways to fund the government. Shelby said Trump did not commit to signing a bill that does not give him all the money he wants to fund construction of a wall along the Mexico border. Shelby said Trump was noncommittal about how he planned to proceed."

Hey man, if they shut it down too long, people will realize they (Feds) are not needed in any way whatsoever.

Shut it down! Do it! :113:

Once again Congress will screw Americans over by not getting a wall built.

This will be time #3.

Actually, the "wall" has already been funded twice and then they raided the funds.

This is disheartening. :(

I have a great Rep, but he's only 1 man.

Veto. All the left has is the House. Trump can veto everything they send to him and they can't override any of them. Meanwhile, Trump can appoint judge after judge as vacancies come up and Dems can't do shit to stop them. What will 45 do? Same thing he's been doing...making America great again.

Unless they can cheat their way into controlling the senate, the most egregious stuff will not make it to his desk.

Trump should rally Americans to fund a "go fund me" account to build the wall, thus bypassing the Swamp.

Volunteers could then be rounded up to help build it.

The Swamp will never go along with it.

Hell, the GOP while in power would not do it, so what makes us think the Dims will?

If the Democrats want to shut down the government, they have the right to starve the poor and do so.

But if they are responsible, they'll authorize the Wall.

What I think is interesting here is whether the Dems are still deficit hawks, criticizing debt, now that they will be appropriating money. Also , will the House Dems have the courage of their convictions and pass Draconian style tax hikes? They voted against the tax cuts, this is their chance to fight them.

I heard that the Dims plan on serving Trump with over 80 subpoenas.

That is pretty much all they are going to do.

Really they need to follow up with what they have said, which is the need to impeach Trump.

Not doing so will make them look pretty foolish.
