It is not uncommon for NDAs to be ruled invalid or too broad and thrown out.

Will be interesting to see how this one comes out, if they rule in his favor it could open the floodgates.

The NDA will be declared illegal:

1. He's not employed by Donald Trump, he employed by the US government;

2. Government employees duty is to the Constitution and the people. He has a DUTY to the oath he swore when he took the job to uphold the Constitution. If that means violating a trust with the President, the government and the people of the United States pay his salary, not the President;

3. Unless he had Independent Legal Advice in signing the NDA, he can claim coercion by Trump, which would invalidate it utterly.

The NDA may be enforceable for campaign staff, but it will not cover the period he worked in the WH. The NDA's the White House staff were forced to sign, violate their duty to the Constitutional.
