Ex-House speaker Tom Foley dies at 84 - CenturyLink​

He was one of the better Speakers and a class act.

I'd like to thank Mr Foley for his service, but no one should be a career politician. He would have never left congress had he not lost his seat, like so many of the parasites in DC.

Sounds like he was a nice man, but the grotesque nature of professional politicians is also something worth noting. RIP.
