Do you understand the difference between Democrats and Liberals and Democrats and Conservatives

Especially in the 1930s
You, in no way indicated that you speaking from the perspective of 1930. But if you care to now make that claim here goes.

Liberals in 1930 were Conservatives. But sometime between now and then the definition of Liberal has changed.

You position seems like it is based entirely on ignorance now that you wish for us to think you were speaking as if you were in that time.

When do you think Lindbergh and Henry Ford were politically active?
When do you think WWII was brewing?

Liberals in 1930 were Conservatives. But sometime between now and then the definition of Liberal has changed.

Liberals in the 1930s
Fair Deal, Social Security, Minimum wage, Labor protection

You still dont know the difference between Democrat/Republican and Conservative/Liberal
You are denying that Henry Ford was a Democrat. When Hitler came to power, Ford was a Democrat. You stated that Henry Ford supported the Nazis, "right up to the war".

Fine, I have not disagreed with you. Democrats supported the Nazis right up to the war. Henry Ford being the one you mentioned.

He ran for Senate as a Democrat, he ran for President as a Republican. He was a Coolidge supporter and hated FDR

But he was a CONSERVATIVE

Right, he was a capitalist, you could say that. He also ran for a senate seat as a Democrat.
Ford never ran for the office of the president. Look it up. You will find that there were rumors and groups here and there that promoted the idea. But Ford never ran for the office of President.

Very true. There were a lot of Americans of German descent who "answered the call" and fought for Germany as well.

There were a lot more German-Americans who answered the call and fought wearing United States Of America uniforms.

:)

Actually, it was American Conservatives like Lindbergh and Henry Ford who supported the Nazis right up till the war

A number of German Americans were actually convicted of espionage and attempted sabotage on behalf of nazi Germany during the war.

And yet, a tiny fraction of the number of German Americans were confined to fdr's concentration camps than Japanese Americans. Why would that be?
