Greetings to all. New to the political message board setup, but after trolling through the site, I figured I'd enjoy communicating with some of the more politically astute participants, along with engaging a few of the politically naive members.
I try to be active in the political process, have written my fair share of letters to congressmen (and women), have visited their offices in DC, and try my best to be a consistent pain in their asses.
I suppose that, in general, I'm quite disgusted with our government and I simply hope to be apart of a group of people that realize that this is OUR government, not the government's government, and who are willing to do something about it.
Oh yeah, I'm 36, a Veteran of the US Army, educated and employed in the finance world, have 2 children and a wife, and love the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. God bless her and all who love her.
