BLS- "The civilian labor force participation rate declined by 0.2 percentage point to 63.6 percent in November"

146,000 jobs were added. That was more than expected.

Is it where we need to be? Of course not.

Is it a sign of improvement? Yes.

When the workforce shrinks it is not improvement. When the employment to population ratio tanks it is actually worse!

Previous 2 months numbers were revised down. We lost ground on employment. The employment to population went down!

I actually expect a recession next year, and it won't have anything to do with that guy Fiscal Cliff everyone is talking about. Fiscal Cliff is a diversion.

It will have much to do with Wall Street's continuation of its global derivatives bubble, and the collective incompetence of Obama, McConnell, Boehner, and Bernanke.

Of course, the piss drinkers will put all of it on Obama. It's what they do.

Uncertainty & Fiscal Cliff are the big job killers. We do not have to go into recession. Inflation is tame, deficits are not the problem at the moment. Inverted tax code taxing the middle class higher rate than the rich is also a big problem.
