Yeah. If I did go through there at the speed limit, it would indeed be the first time. I trust myself, but not everybody else especially no holds barred and Atlanta isn't Germany."WTH? Atlanta Police Are No Longer Allowed to Chase Suspects.
ATLANTA (CBS46) – Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields told her staff Friday the entire department would have a zero-chase policy effective immediately, sources confirmed to CBS46 News. Chief Shields indicated the policy will remain in place for the department until more policy decisions have been made. The move came in a staff email Friday that took aim at the judicial system.
Shields said in the email to her staff that she had to weigh the success of the chases the department engages in with, “the level of pursuit training received by officers who are engaging in the pursuits, the rate of occurrence of injury/death as a result of the pursuits and the likelihood of the judicial system according any level of accountability to the defendants arrested as a result of the pursuits.”

Damn! and there's a good ball team in Atlanta. With no chase policy in effect, it might be roller derby or rollerball time on the streets of the peach tree city, 24/7.
Soooo.....you're considering a new vocation as a result of this move by the police?
Good call!
Naw, Just considering bypassing Atlanta on the way to Florida next summer.
Well....now you can do so within the speed limit.
