The economy will probably be humming by 2016 as the housing and debt excesses get cleared out. And whomever will be President is going to take credit for it, and all their supporters will use it as evidence that their policies are working though their policies will have little to do with the recovery.

 Good point. That's certainly a possibility. I've been having a difficult time predicting the next big economic collapse. I had originally thought it might happen in the 2015/16 timeframe, but now I'm not so sure. This is going to be one wild ride.

ROFLMAO!!!!! Show us how the debt will "get cleared out" as well as the Housing sector???????? Pumping worthless fiat money to buy up mortgaga securites, increasing the National debt by 40 BILLION A month which doesn't include interest, IS A FREAKING joke and NO ECONOMIST believes this is going to help.. Quite the opposite. You liberals are DANGEROUS, both domestically and on National Security. God forbid if ANY American ever trusts a liberal again.

Yes, you're going to lose.. and lose badly.

Albertsons is closing 26 stores. 8 coal mines were just closed. Yep, the economy is just humming along, rip roaring.
