Suspect arrested in foiled terror plot | Video | 7online

    [snip]
A suspect has been arrested for allegedly plotting to attack the Federal Reserve building in New York City on Wednesday.

ABC reports federal authorities and NYPD foiled his plans with an organized sting operation in which the man parked a van he thought was carrying explosives near the Lower Manhattan building.

The FBI has identified the suspect as a 21-year-old from Bangladesh. The man lives in Long Island and is believed to have acted alone.

    Well, Obama there's still terrorism.

Time to get serious about it. Banning islam is a good step.

You won't like it, but islam will never end its war on this planet until we do.

Maybe we can start with education but there's a lot of muslims. :eusa_shhh:

Sadly, sometimes you have to have an iron fist to get things done.

But despite catching the suspect and thwarting a terrorist plot in a beautifully conceived operation by our government, will Obama actually call it an act of terrorism? That's much more important than the hundreds of lives that were just saved.

Well, two thirds of each house of Congress would first have to deem it necessary to propose the measure. Or, it could be proposed by a committee formed upon application of two thirds of the legislatures of the states. In either case, the proposal would then have to be ratified by three fourths of the legislatures of the several states, or by conventions therein, with the Congress at its discretion proposing one or the other method for ratification.
