In connection with islamist ideology, we need to understand the past in order to understand the present. The all-consuming islamist politico-religious ideology of hate has brought more death and destruction than any other. The Crusading jihadi minions are barbarians. They glamorize death and their self-destruction.
The history of Islam's Crusades is one of hoardes of slaughtering, ignorant, illiterate thugs. In Europe, they stood on the necks of the poor. They were the top of a pyramid of dead bodies which was the slaughter of millions. They enslaved millions, spilling out of the Arabian Peninsula to grind everyone else into the dust with their fascist ideology. Then they went into the Indian Subcontinent and slaughtered millions upon millions until, as the sources say, putting cities to the sword until the streets were knee deep in blood.
The hate/self-hate that defines so much of the islamist world is a function of an Arab warlord who was among the most prolific purveyors of misery.
