Appears the sponsoring of terrorism is squarely aimed at America. This isn't surprising nor is it surprising that they targeted the wrong ship either. Cowardice and intelligence don't generally mix.

EXCLUSIVE: Pentagon believes attack on Saudi frigate meant for US warship

The Iranian-backed suicide attack targeting a Saudi frigate off the coast of Yemen on Monday may have been meant for an American warship, two defense officials told Fox News.

The incident in question occurred in the southern Red Sea and was carried out by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels. Two Saudi sailors were killed and three were wounded. At first the ship was thought to have been struck by a missile.

But based on new analysis of a video showing the attack, American intelligence officials now believe this was, in fact, a suicide bomber whose small boat rammed the side of the Saudi vessel.

In the audio heard on the video, a voice narrating the attack shouts in Arabic, "Allahu akbar [God is great], death to America, death to Israel, a curse on the Jews and victory for Islam."

U.S. defense analysts believe those behind the attack either thought the bomber was striking an American warship or that this was a “dress rehearsal” similar to the attack on the USS Cole, according to one official.

Time to bring all our warships home to protect our shores, rather than sticking our noses where they do not belong.

...this is but a dream, a long lost dream that Americans once held dear. Today the USA is all about warmongering and empire building. Of course the consequences of this, are lost liberty at home.

The world needs more America, not less. You cut and run because some trash threatens you? That's not the American spirit.

America isn't the problem. The problem is countries like Canada and so many others who don't pony up the resources they committed to. Time for America to play hardball and tell other countries they need to pull their weight. A simple solution really.

These are both good points. Trump has already announced we will not be doing any 'nation building' crap invasions of shit Islamic countries. On the other hand, we will drop bombs on them if and when they get out of line.

It is tempting to let Saudi and Iran just go at it, just let them kill each other.

Not our business and will lead to our destruction.

If by 'more America' you mean more military interventions around the world, the result will be continued reduction in liberty at home. War always leads to tyranny and dictatorship...and ultimately destruction.

What do you need a military at home for? You thwart off attacks before they come even close to your shores.

Furthermore, I reject moral equivalency. This is what is harming the world. America stood for and should stand for natural laws, human rights and liberty. This makes the world, including America safer, and it also is the character of a righteous people. You don't need to intervene in every problem. America needs to stamp it's opinion and encourage others to help in the fight. Whether it's ISIS or some other abusive regime. A free, just world is good for everyone.

When Reagan and even Bush lead America, the world was on board in support of America because America stood for something. Good vs evil, capitalism vs communism, liberty vs dictatorships. They didn't apologize for this, nor did they pretend that somehow evil socialists systems were redeemable. Call it what it is and don't back down from principles that people die to experience. In short, liberty freedom and individual pursuits are worth fighting for an supporting.

It is very simple. You can't have liberty at home, when constantly at war aboard.

War is the health of the state. More war...the more the state grows...the more the state grows the more liberty is reduced.

America can stand for good, without having it's military all over the world causing trouble. Allowing criminal politicians (sorry for the redundancy) the power to wage war, is a recipe for disaster.

Attack them before they attack us? We saw the stupidity of that in Iraq not so long ago. Speaking of Reagan, when our Marine barracks were bombed in Lebanon he cut and run. We invaded Granada 2 days later. That really showed the terrorists what badasses we were. You think?

Shows the Muzzies are so ignorant they don't know who they should be attacking.

Those with education sit back and send their stupid followers out to kill themselves. What happens when the USA and the UK quit educating them?

Intersting and all, but since the President has outed our intelligence community as being a bunch of anti-American liars we probably can't trust this information.
