'The latest flood of legal news about President Trump's associates — the conviction of Paul Manafort and guilty plea by Michael Cohen — makes it easy to lose track of the broader storyline of Robert Mueller's Russia investigation. Here's a map to help you keep every move straight.

How it works: The map starts with the people who participated in key events and the ones who have been convicted, pleaded guilty or been charged. Expand this story and you'll see the rest. Note that Manafort's conviction and Cohen's guilty pleas were on charges unrelated to Russia — but they highlight Trump's broader legal jeopardy.

PLEASE FOLLOW LINK FOR SUMMATION IMAGE (that I cannot figure out how to post with this article).

Key events:

Election interference:

  • 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities were indicted on charges of violating criminal laws to interfere with the 2016 U.S. election.
    • On the same day, Mueller struck a plea deal with California resident Richard Pinedowho was accused of knowingly making tens of thousands of dollars by transferring hundreds of bank account numbers that were ultimately used to commit wire fraud.
The hacking:

  • 12 Russian military officers were indicted for hacking and releasing the emails of Democratic campaign organizations, including the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, in an effort to interfere with the 2016 presidential election.
The Manafort verdict:

  • Manafort was found guilty on 8 criminal counts, including bank fraud, tax fraud and hiding a foreign bank account. The verdicts were focused on his activities as a lobbyist for Ukraine.
Cohen's guilty plea:

  • He pleaded guilty to eight counts related to tax fraud, making false statements to a financial institution, excessive campaign contributions, and unlawful corporate contributions. He said he was directed to violate campaign law at the direction of an unnamed candidate.
Who's not on the list:

  • Donald Trump Jr. The bigger intrigue is about why there have been no reports that Mueller's team has questioned Trump Jr., given that he is a key player in one of the biggest events: the Trump Tower meeting with Manafort and Kushner. (He did testifybefore a Senate committee.)
  • President Trump. And, of course, Mueller hasn't questioned the president — yet.'
Everyone caught up in the Trump investigations

So...Trump's, former personal lawyer, his former campaign manager, his former national security adviser and a former campaign advisor have ALL been convicted/pled guilty of crimes within Trump's first 20 months in office.

And Trump/Trumpbots keep saying it's a 'witch hunt'?

Suuuuuuuuuure it is.

  • Page meeting: Carter Page met in Moscow with Russia's deputy prime minister and a Russian oil official in June 2016.

You really understand so little of this litany of Bullshit you dumped here.

Carter Page was doing BUSINESS in Russia. That is not a crime. He's an ENERGY SPECIALIST. Helped Russia write applications to the WTO and things with the FULL APPROVAL and knowledge of the US Govt. IN FACT, they were "watching him" because he cooperated with the FBI and Intel people on his relationships over there. There is NO THERE THERE..

PapaDop WAS FED dirt on possible "hillary russian connections". But it's now KNOWN that there was an elaborate network of CIA/FBI IMPLANTS that were feeding him all this with the sole purpose of dirtying up enough people in the Trump campaign to have the option of prosecuting them later. Do you even KNOW WHO that "professor" was? Or his connections to the CIA and DIA? He's a professional instigator with a specialty in monkeying political campaigns. HIRED by YOUR govt to "infect" PapaDop and then "expose" them with beautiful woman in Australia who introduces him to the Aussie Ambassador when he's fully alcohol loaded and the rest is ESPIONAGE by YOUR govt.

You got the right list --- but these 2 and the Trump Tower meeting with Honey Pot Russian Beaver lawyer are ALL part of the monkey wrenching and spying and instigating in a political campaign that YOUR GOVT set up.

And this will become totally apparent to the retarded eventually. When your "media co-conspirators" are forced to report the sanctions and indictments on the US Federal officials that played roles in this sedition.

Largest political scandal of our lifetimes, and CNN/MSNBC/NYTimes/WashPo have eaten your brain and kept in the dark feeding you porn star/Playboy/2 scoops of ice cream scandals and you've missed the total 1st half of this drama. You won't miss the end of it tho...

Yep, because not one of those people convicted have had anything to do with Trump and the so-called collusion. It is so sad that you libtards are too stupid to connect the dots.

'Manafort was found guilty on 8 criminal counts, including bank fraud, tax fraud and hiding a foreign bank account.

The only relevant points here are:
  • They threw out more charges than they kept because most of the charges didn't hold any water
  • Manafort freely CONFESSED guilt, he wasn't "found" guilty (the judge even asked him if he realized the implications of his actions) suggesting the guy ain't all there and competent to speak for himself.
  • Makes one wonder what they would have found on Benghazi, Hillary's email and about a half dozen other high crimes had they employed a Special Counsel on THOSE cases with unlimited power, time and money instead of mere "Senate investigations" where the senators are essentially impotent and powerless to even force people to show up or provide subpoenaed documents on time.
  • None of this case had a damned thing to do with the election, Russia or Trump.

Fine...now show me link(s) to unbiased factual proof that you can successfully ascertain what percentage of the OP I understand. Because, without that, you cannot accurately determine whether my understanding of said material is 'little' or not.

I saw Cohens lawyer say his client had information that Mueller would be interested in .... then alluded to Russian emails and the meting at Trump Tower ..

evidence huh ?

careful what you ask for -

in fact,

Cohen's attorney says he has information on Trump that would interest Mueller - CNNPolitics

and

Davis told The Washington Post that Cohen’s knowledge reached beyond “the obvious possibility of a conspiracy to collude” and included also the question of Trump’s participation in a “criminal conspiracy” to hack into the emails of Democratic officials during the 2016 election.

On “The Rachel Maddow Show,” Davis, who is a veteran of the Clinton White House, said his client had “knowledge about the computer crime of hacking and whether or not Mr. Trump knew ahead of time about that crime and even cheered it on.”

It was already clear, Davis said, that Trump “publicly cheered it on” — an apparent reference to then-candidate Trump’s appeal to Russia in July 2016 to “find the 30,000 emails that are missing.” The question that Trump’s former attorney might be able to answer, Davis said, is “did he also have private information?”

“Donald Trump and all of his henchmen miss when they say ‘no collusion, no collusion, no collusion'” is the issue of criminal conspiracy, which he distinguished from collusion. (For the record, Davis said he thinks there was also collusion, meaning “active coordination between people in the Trump campaign and Russian government officials.”)

A conspiracy to commit a crime becomes a crime if there’s one overt act — meaning you do anything to implement the crime,” Davis added. “So if there is a conversation and a plan for there to be dirt on Hillary Clinton, and then someone knows the way you’re willing to get the dirt is a Russian agent called WikiLeaks… and then WikiLeaks hacks into an email account, which is a crime, then you have committed a crime of conspiracy.”

A crime of conspiracy, he maintained, “could mean that somebody knows about a crime about to be committed and doesn’t call the FBI.”

I think we can start calling it a conspiracy at this point; not collusion. Felons don't get hired to positions of authority unless a there is a felon doing the hiring.

Mueller’s job was to find Russian collusion with Donnie’s campaign. Surprise! He found other shit instead.

Just watch, they will run with this thread today with all manner of outlandish conspiracy theories to defend POTUS at all costs. Even if it means further erosion of this Republic and it's legal institutions. Great OP by the way.

The only thing different about Trump is he isn’t a member of the criminal ruling class. This is why they want him gone. Now, this doesn’t mean he isn’t also a criminal. However, why do you support the criminal ruling class? You have nothing in common with them.

Yup. They are all celebrating two criminals as though Trump was the ringleader when in reality he had nothing to do with what they were doing.

Long way from collusion with the Russians which is what this whole circle jerk was supposed to be about.

Have you heard Mueller say that Trump colluded with the Russians?? I sure haven't yet these lefty idiots are celebrating like he's been found guilty.

Talk about a bunch of laughable morons.

Yeah he is a Reaganite "professional instigator," but you knew that already. Interesting that you left out his Republican connections.

BULLSHIT!
Manafart WAS found guilty and confessed to nothing.
No wonder Tramp lies so freely to you gullible fools!
