Europe's pent-up fury with Trump

European Council President Donald Tusk expressed a frustration that’s been bubbling up across Europe this week when he said of President Trump, “with friends like that, who needs enemies?”

Why it matters: Outraged that Trump spurned their pleas on the Iran deal, fearing the prospect of U.S. sanctions on steel and aluminum and at odds with Trump on key issues like climate change and the U.S. embassy move in Israel, Europe’s leaders are warning they could go their own way.
Trump is doing exactly what Putin hoped for

Breaking up the western alliance

What did Trump do that was so bad?

Is this him? Or is it them being assholes?

It’s not about popularity. The top priority of the American President, ANY American President, must be, what is best for America.

While the Iran deal was very lucrative for France, Germany, and the rest of the EU, it was a bad deal for America.

Europeans are welcome to do what is best for them, but America can put strong economic pressure on those who act against the welfare of the United States.

Yup and I for one couldn't give a shit what those European countries think.

Most of them are being overrun by the death cult and don't have brains enough to boot them out.

That deal was good for them but bad for the US.

Europe is learning to get along without the US

We used to provide stable, dependable leadership

Now, we are not trusted

Bullshit. We don't owe Europe a damned thing.

Let em take care of themselves. We saved Europe in two world wars and they sure as shit haven't done much for the US.

We have stable dependable leadership which is more than I can say for most of Europe.

A ridiculous statement. That ANYONE that is president of the US always does what is best for the US. The current idiot disproves that in spades. The ignorants following him excuse everything the POS does no matter how egregious. And he's had a year of egregious.

Face it cons, he's destroying all the goodwill the US has garnered since WW2. He doesn't do anything in the best interest of the US, he acts only to satisfy his own childish ego. Buy a clue.
Let's see how long it takes the EU countries to come crawling on their knees to President Trump.
They have six more years.
America is still the greatest most powerful country on earth.
America go that way by not getting rolled by other countries...........until scum bag socialists like Obama took over.
If Hillary had got elected her 'Foundation' would now be worth ten billions dollars.

I think Europe should build a pink people's wall to keep their people from escaping, and then they can chant beautiful muslim prayers to keep themselves warm.

That's the stupidest thing I've read this week. No offense.

The media and politicians over there are identical to that over here. They don’t reflect the rank and file Europeans. The majority of them over there wish they had a leader like Trump.

DrumpFsters Solutions are just all about spewing bullets. Threatening always wins little in the end.

Can DrumpFsters spell 'Nuke'? FYI. This one easy DOPers, just cut and paste the orange on your screen here.

Driven mainly by the presence of the European Union and its cancerous effects on governance (witness, Brexit), the "Leadership" there is only remotely connected with the desires of the people who live there.

The most obvious and insidious manifestation of this disconnect is the handling of the millions of invaders from Syria, the rest of the Middle East, and various shit-holes in Africa. While the People of Europe looked on in horror, its 'leaders" either tolerated or even welcomed (Germany) this plague, which, given the low birth rates of Western European countries, signaled the death knell of their various cultures. Within two generations, those countries will be completely transformed.

I suspect that while the "leaders" in Europe are indeed horrified with our Exalted President, and disagree with virtually everything he does, he has the full support of (a) Americans who actually work for a living, and (b) our counterparts across the Pond.

Not to worry.

Good will doesn't mean shit. See how these places in Europe like it when we pull out of NATO and bring our troops home. They're spoiled children. We rebuilt their countries and protected them for 70 years. Now it's time for them to grow up and do fir themselves.

These failing countries have populations that are fucking sick to death of being run by Socialists/Marxists who want to plug as many Muslims into the voting booths as possible.
The pendulum is swinging back to reality.
Travel to Portugal and ask a hundred young people what they think of Socialism and how well it's working for them.

Within a decade there WILL be all out war between the Muslims and the Christian Europens to see who controls the country.
The europeans will have ZERO weapons while the muslims will have hundreds of thousands of arms supplied to them by Iran.
The US will have no choice but to sit back and watch all of Europe turned into a giant muslim shithole.

If you want a President who puts the interests of Europe, go and win some elections. Campaign on that! "We're going to take your guns and money and put the interests of MS-13 and the EU ahead of Americans. Vote Democrat"
