Chicago, Chicago, that Toddling Town

A far-right Arizona conspiracy theorist known as "QAnon Shaman," who stormed the Capitol in a fur headdress with horns, says he feels "duped" by Trump after the former president didn't pardon him, his lawyer has said.

Jake Angeli, whose real name is Jacob A. Chansley, was arrested and charged earlier this month in connection with the Capitol riots, which resulted in the deaths of five people, including a police officer.

Speaking to local television station KSDK on Thursday, Chansley's lawyer Al Watkins said that his client had expected to be pardoned by Trump but that he has now realized he'd been "duped."

"He regrets very, very much having not just been duped by the president, but by being in a position where he allowed that duping to put him in a position to make decisions he should not have made," Watkins said, according to Law & Crime.

Maybe the should call this guy as a witness in the Senate Impeachment Trial.

All of them are blaming Trump one way or the other. Let's run with the big conspiracy. Mitch has made a deal with them to make it look as bad as possible on Trump so he can justify the impeachment.

Let's throw that out there and revisit. Trump gets found guilty and those arrested get light sentences.

I've been wondering if they might. Probably not him--all the defense will have to do to discredit him is put up his picture. But he's not the only one who has told the FBI the President told them to storm the Capitol and stop the election. It's probably the best evidence the impeachment has.

All Trump voters/supporters were duped – sad that many are just now realizing that fact.

He's an Alinskyite Progressive fuckwit

Is this the vegan who is supposedly a “far-right” guy?

Yea, sure.
He says he is a Trump supporter. He went to many Trump rallies in support of Trump. The fact that he's also a vegan means he can't also be a Trump supporter? That's some interesting "logic" you employ there...
Maybe he is referencing man meat?
Regardless of what he consumed for energy he was a Trump supporter and a stooge for Trump along with several other millions...And those that are die hard cultist will now rend the GOP.

JakeStarkey says he's a Republican and Mal says he only has one USMB account.

And we need to stop with the ‘far-right’ nonsense – ‘QAnon Shaman’ and his ilk are mainstream Republicans/conservatives.

Sixty-eight percent of Republicans believe the election was ‘stolen’ from Trump; the conservatives who attacked America’s democracy on January 6th were not ‘the fringe’ or ‘outliers’; they are the GOP and conservativism.

What if we found out he's of mixed ethnics and possibly gay.
Would that exclude him from any further scrutiny for you Joey ?

LOL! His apology blames Trump?

Let me guess what's coming next...

Trump's lawyer, the honorable Rudy Giuliani, will offer a Trump apology that will blame QAnon Shaman.

Then someone will yell case closed, and Republicans will issue a call for unity. And to that end, Trump (the magnanimous) will forgive QAnon Shaman, and QAnon Shaman will forgive Trump, and ALL will be forgiven in the interest of amity.

Angeli has been a supporter of Donald Trump,[18][19][20][21] has a social media following, and has attended rallies supporting QAnon mostly in and around Phoenix.[18] At various rallies in Arizona, he shouted about QAnon conspiracy theories and carried a sign that says "Q Sent Me".[22]
Before attending far-right rallies, Angeli was noticed in 2019 for frequently protesting alone outside the Arizona Capitol, espousing various conspiracy theories.[23] He was reported as a shamanic practitioner when attending a climate activism protest in Arizona.[24] He began wearing his distinctive fur hat and face paint to attract attention so that he could then talk about QAnon and "other truths", he told The Arizona Republic in early 2020;[18] in 2021 he called his outfit "Shaman" dress.[23] He appeared at a Black Lives Matter protest in the Phoenix area in order to spread the QAnon conspiracy theory.[25]
Besides appearances at Trump rallies, Angeli protested COVID-19 lockdowns in Arizona. Following the 2020 United States presidential election, Angeli's protests focused on challenging the results of the vote in Arizona.[18][26] He camped outside the Maricopa County Courthouse during the vote counting process,[27] and gave a speech at a rally there on November 7, the day that president-elect Joe Biden announced his win, declaring, "This election has not been called! Don't believe that lie! They got their hands caught in the cookie jar and we're going to the Supreme Court! Trump always looks like he's going to lose. And then he wins."[21]
