English wine

Due to the shift in climate it has turned back the clock to the time we invented the Champagne process and now our Champagnes , sparkling and still whites are brilliant and win awards all over the place and outperform both French and Napa Valley California regularly in blind tasting.
All top quality but pricey .
Presume prices will fall as volume growth increases .

I think that is from that crap the FDA allows them to add to the wine. Sulfites.

I had a love affair with American wine for years. Particularly the oaky Chardonnay from CA.

One day, a sommelier told me about all the additives, and l went back to European. All wines contain additives, but EU laws restrict the use of added substances to a reasonable degree.

The English have wine? I did not think they had the weather for it. Hence the joy of beer.

They also have faggots. Southern England is pretty much on the same latitudinal line as France.
