As I read the article Linking emergence of fungal plant diseases and ecological speciation it brought to my recollection the problems associated with mingling species. It is the consequences unknown to the mixers that follow afterward that create problems. Novel diseases are now following as the ecosystems have been altered and are trying to adapt to the changes. Upon the natural order of the configuration changes being made now havoc ensues. There begins new cycle of death. Ultimately new life forms that are foreign to the original natural inhabitants of the eco system come forth. The system will be learning to adapt to the unknown fungal and viral factors for many generations to come. In all that new dangers each day will present themselves for plant life and mammals. Certain sects within the loop have known as genes that have been intermingled with one another and viral funguses were jumping across the species barriers. This information is now being shared more readily to the public at large.
Great plagues and famines has, can, do and will come forth and truthfully the world is not prepared what is now emerging. It will take a many generations to cleanup what sloppy governance and greedy science has initiated in the enviroment, the food chain and supplies that feed the nations. That old saying you reap what you sow is just now being brought forth as we see the damaging effects of experimenting on the sustenances for humans and animals alike.

Genes, parasites, bacterias, viruses and funguses jump species. Play around with genetics by forced mixing and matching creates havoc. This should be obvious to our political leaders throughout by now.
