Eliminating genes which manifest themselves as "transgender"

Hypothetically, if transgender was found to have genetic causes (as opposed to merely being influenced by social factors and causes in the media, intentionally by promoters of it and the cultish, conspiracy theories, or mythical beliefs it is based on to begin with in lieu of biology or evolutionary psychology, as opposed to the reality that identity confusion is a product of adolescence, and that most mature out of it naturally without need for surgery, as well as a product of other psychological factors) and the genes which cause it could be eliminated, preventing anyone from ever being born with the condition to begin with, and removing the need for any surgery, would you be in favor of this? Discuss.
