I think it will happen. Americans love to sue.
He paid a lot of money for the business and that comes with responsibilities. Businesses cannot afford the kind of market manipulation we have seen so far.

Twitter's whole purpose is to see what famous people post. If the users cannot trust the blue checkmark people will leave Twitter and find an alternative. Suits or not, this is something Musk has to fix if he is not trying to drive Twitter to bankruptcy.
